ABSTRACT
This research tests the effect of swimming at different intensities (lipolitic aerobic (AEL), intense aerobic (AEI), lactic anaerobic (CLA) and alactic anaerobic (ALA)) on the counter movement jump (CMJ) height. Meaningful differences (p <0.001) between AEL and the others were found. As higher the intensitie higher the height. The latter suggest that higher height is not because the streching-shortening cycle manifestation (SSC). Probably, the necessary nervous impulses increases in frequency and intensity to realize a faster beat at faster swimming speeds.
